# Can I apply with a personal email address?

We recognize and understand that only some nonprofits have set up work email addresses or may not choose to use one, so we are happy to receive applications from either your personal or work email address.

However, while using your work email address is not required, if possible, we always encourage applicants to apply with one as this speeds up [our process](https://help.goodstack.org/what-is-percents-verification-process?hsLang=en-us) of confirming your association with the organization.
