# I applied with my personal email address instead of my work email address

We encourage applicants to apply with their work email address that matches their organization's domain, which will speed up the process of confirming their association with them.

However, if you have already submitted an application using your email address, you must submit a new application for verification if you want to apply with your work email.

**Please note:** Just because you have applied with a personal email address does not automatically mean it will affect the outcome of your application. Also, for some Partner Discount Programs, you can only start the application after signing into your account with them. In this case, your account's email address is automatically used for the application.
