# When will my nonprofit receive donations?

The minimum payout threshold does not apply to nonprofits based in the **United States** to comply with local regulation.

If your nonprofit has received at least **$45** (or equivalent in local currency) in pending donations, we will process a payout twice a month to your bank account (once mid-month, and once end-of month).

If your nonprofit still needs to receive **$45** in pending donations for the current month, the amount will be carried over to the following month until this threshold is reached. 

However, if more than 90 days have passed since the donation, this threshold will be ignored, and all your nonprofit's pending donations will be included in the next payout (regardless of whether it's more or less than **$45**).

**Example 1:**

- Three donors donate $10 in Month A (total = $30). The donations will carry over as the threshold has yet to be met.
- Two more donors donate $10 in Month B (new total = $50). The threshold has been met, and the $50 is paid

**Example 2:**

- Three donors donate $5 in Month A (total = $15). The donations will carry over as the threshold has yet to be met.
- A donor donates $10 in Month B (new total = $25). The donations will carry over again as the threshold has yet to be met.
- Two donors donate $5 in Month C (new total = $35). The donations will carry over again as the threshold has yet to be met.
- A donor donates $5 in Month D (new total = $40). The 90-day mark will have passed this month, so the $45 threshold is ignored, and the $40 is paid.
