Embedding the donation form popup on your Squarespace website

 

Find your donation form code snippets

To embed your donation form in your site, you will need to access some code snippets which are available in your Causes Portal account.

  1. Sign in to your Causes Portal with your Goodstack account.
  2. Click Donation form.
  3. You will see your code snippets.

Add a donate button on Squarespace

  1. Log in to your Squarespace account.
  2. Access your website, and go to edit mode:
    1. Select ADD BLOCK
    2. Search for the Embed option and select it
  3. Drag the Embed block to your preferred location on the page, and select the edit icon
  4. In the edit modal, select Embed data and then choose the Code Snippet option. You should now see a text box to paste in your code.
  5. Navigate to the Donation forms section of your Causes Portal account (see instructions above):
    1. Copy the code snippet under the heading Load the Goodstack library and paste into the box on Squarespace
    2. Copy the code snippet under the heading Add the donate button and paste onto the next line in the box
    3. You can now close the modal as your data is automatically saved
  6. Once you are happy with the position of the button, you can Save your edits which are then published to your website. You can preview the donation form as below.
