What documents does Goodstack require to verify that an organization is an educational institution?

We do not rely on submitted documentation to determine whether the organization you are applying on behalf of qualifies as an educational institution. Instead, we verify the organization’s educational status using verifiable information.

This means we require the institution to have an active and credible online presence, such as an official website or a maintained social media profile that clearly represents the organization. We use the information available through these channels to confirm that the organization:

  1. Is formally established and operating as an educational entity.

  2. Is appropriately accredited or recognized within its jurisdiction, where applicable.

  3. Has a primary and demonstrable focus on providing educational services (for example, formal teaching, training, or structured learning programs).

If an institution does not yet have a website or social media presence, or if the available information is incomplete, we may be unable to verify education status through this process. In those cases, the application may be rejected until sufficient, verifiable online information is available.
